研究方向与兴趣
主要关注在进化生物学及基因组学领域，熟悉运用生物信息学及分子生物学的实验方法来回答生物进化的相关问题，在整合分类学上也有丰富的研究经验。目前主要的研究对象是节肢动物类群。
现在的研究项目
动物的水陆习性转变是何时以及如何演化的问题一直备受关注和探 讨。蜘蛛物种数目庞大，但水生蜘蛛类群稀少，它们的水生适应性演化分子机制尚不清楚。本项目以水蛛和潮蛛为研究对象，通过基因组学和功能基因组学的研究方法对蜘蛛的水生适应性演化进行深入的探究。
